In this show I talk about the very cool ink sampler service offered by The Pear Tree Pen Company - http://www.peartreepens.com. You can pick 4 different varieties of ink and you are sent little bottles of each. Probably enough for a cartridge full. Less than 3 bucks or a little more than 4 if you want eye droppers on each bottle.

I didn't know when I was doing the show, but just to clarify, shipping is included with the ink sampler prices.

Flushing your pen to get it ready for another ink color or to be put away. Basically this process involves emptying the pen of any ink it may currently contain. Then proceeding to "flush" the pen with water until it runs clear. After that you "shake down" the pen with the tip held in a tissue to capture the water/moisture.

Scented Inks - Montegrappa is coming out with scented inks in a variety of colors. A different scent corrisponding to each ink.

Macro Photography
Camera must support macro mode. Some cameras even have a super macro mode.

Angles and reflections or a key thing to watch for, espically when shooting nibs.
