Paint my portrait with words of glib
Wet and lush your midnight ink
Saturating paper with tasty drink
Every letter most sublime
Increased pleasure with each line
Your lacquer finish as smooth as silk
With loving care were you built
A work of art,a tapestry in hand
Crafted elegance of style grand
Adorned with sterling silver dreams
In faintest light you beauty gleams
Your rich appointments please the eye
Like baby blue of summer sky
Grip as soft as purest snow
Your golden clip a lambent glow
Page after page of writing pleasure
In my hand a timeless treasure
When work is done rest in your place
Lined with felt your cedar case.
