Just a brief update this week. Monteverde continues
to ship small quantities of Megas to dealers as they
scramble to keep up with the orders brought about by
the New York Times article.

Quite a few Duke, Uranus and Wing Sung models were
restocked this week, although only a few of the NOS
(new, old stock) 239s were still available, and the
black ones have already sold out.

Monteverde Mega update

So far I've only received about 50 Mega pens from my
re-stocking order with Monteverde. Those have all
been shipped to customers on the waiting list, and I
will continue to ship in the sequence of orders
received, as the pen come in. Orders received
through October 10th have been sent out, and we'll
pick up on October 11th orders as soon as I receive
more!

*Hopefully* I'll have everything by the end of this
week, but unfortunately it's out of my hands as to
how many Monteverde ships at a time.

As I mentioned in the last update, if this
unfortunate delay causes an undue hardship
for anyone on the waiting list, please feel free to
email me to arrange for a refund. I thank everyone
again for their patience!

Wing Sung restocked

I was able to obtain a few more of the NOS (new, old
stock) Wing Sung models that sold out so quickly a
few weeks ago. Here we have the 237 orange celluloid
model.

"The complete evolutionary works of Charles Darwin
have gone online, including the stolen notebook he
carried in his pocket around the Galapagos
Islands.

Tens of thousands of pages of text and pictures and
audio files have been made available, including some
previously unpublished manuscripts and diaries of
the great British scientist.

Among the unique collection is the notebook used
during the Beagle voyage which would later forge his
scientific arguments. It was stolen in the 1980s,
but Darwin's great-great-grandson hopes the
publication online, thanks to a transcription from a
microfilm copy made two decades earlier, will
persuade whoever has it to return it."
