I have a few vintage writing items for sale. Some are third tier, inexpensive pens but all of them are working and will make good daily writers.

If you are not completely satisfied with any item you buy from me, I will refund your purchase price. Please look at the photos to determine the

condition. Feel free to ask questions, negotiate, or ask for more photos. I do a good job repairing pens, but I'm not a photographer.

I prefer Paypal for payment, but I am happy to accept cash, checks, money orders, chickens, goats, trades, or anything that has value to me. If you

have Onoto parts, or Conway Stewart nibs, all the better.

1. Parker 45 Flighter with black barrel end. There are several versions of the Parker 45 Flighter. This one has the chrome clip and

black barrel end. The brush steel finish has been polished lightly and so is not as "brushed" as a new pen. The nib on this pen is gold and medium.

The section has a bulge or two. The pen has been completely disassembled and the cleaned and is writing well. $25.00

2. Ritepoint Combo. This is a pencil on one end and a ball point on the other. It has a gold cap. The pencil works. There is an eraser on the pencil side that is used and hard. The BP doesn't work and I don't have any idea if a refill can be fitted. It is an interesting piece nevertheless. $15.00.

3. Platignum Silver Line pen with italic nib. This is a dark chocolate brown pen. The imprint is partial worn. The nib is steel and marked Medium Straight. It has a working aerometric filler. The nib pulls out and can be easily interchanged. Elsewhere in this list is a set with several of these nibs. $20.00

4. Univeristy fountain pen in black and gold. This is a lever filler. It is in working order. The nib is gold plate. I suspect the cap is too. $15.00.

5. Eversharp BP with gold cap. I don't know the model of this one. The cap is gold tone with a steel clip. the barrel is dark burgundy. The end of the barrel has damage. $10.00

6. Odd green Sheaffer school pen. This is the one that is shaped like a snorkle. It has the green transparent barrel. It has a 305 nib ( I think this means medium, but I can never keep them all straight). As a crazy idea, I converted an old Sheaffer cartridge into a bulb filling converter and drilled a hole in the end of the barrel so the pen can be used as a "blow filler". I have tried it and it works but take more air than I care to expend. Still, it is a cool pen and writes well and is easy to refill with the "converter". $12.00.

7. Sheaffer Snorkel set. This is a pen and pencil in the original Sheaffer's box. The box has the instructions under the pen holder. The box is lightly stained. The pencil and pen, both work. The pen has a M6 (Medium silver-palladium alloy) open nib. $80.00

8. Platignum Lettering set. This is an aerometric filling pen. It is in working condition and cosmetically very nice. It comes with a total of 7 nibs, one of which is in the pen. When I found this pen, someone had used india ink in it. It took a great deal of time to get it cleaned up. I am unsure if all of the nibs are usable because they may have had india ink on them as well. Some of the nibs seem to have never seen ink. If you buy #3 above, you will have two pens and several nibs that are all compatible with each other. $30.00

9. Parker Slimfold in burgundy. This is an English Parker shaped like a Duofold, but thinner and shorter. I don't know how it was marketed, but it seems to be a "ladies pen". this one is quite nice. It has an aerometric filler with the clear, internally ribbed sac that is supposed to be there. The cap jewel is the same color as the pen. I love this aspect of English Parkers because the pens look more "finished" to me. This one has a 14k broad, flexible nib. $75.00

10. Parker 45 with gray barrel and steel clip. This pen was fairly beat up when I found it. It has been completely disassembled, cleaned, the nib unit carefully removed, soaked and the ink channels cleaned. (I have fat, strong hands so this require a more delicate touch than I am used to. I broke the feed on the first three of these I tried. I kept the pens, and they write well, but I wouldn't sell a pen like that.) I like 45s. I keep 8 of them in a Levinger's "Museum" case on my office desk because the write every time and the gold nibs one have tiny bit of flex. The nib on this one is Octanium. $20.00

11. Screamin' bright red Wearever. These are one of my favorite pens because I LIKE red! In fact, my Irlen test says that I'm wired to like red. These Wearevers are about the brightest red you are going to see in a pen. It is a cartridge filler. Cartridges can be found and you can make a Sheaffer cartridge work in a bind. (If you need Wearever cartidges, or want me to make you a bulb filling converter like in #6 above, ask!) The clip on this one is a bit loose. The nib is marked medium and if you look closely on the open picture, you can see that the feed is clear. $15.00

12. Parker 45 flighter set. This version of the 45 Flighter has the polished smooth end piece of the barrel. I bought the pen and BP together from a gent who said they were a set. I don't have the box or papers. The pen was disassembled, the nib unit cleaned, and reassembled. As a lark, I checked the refill on the BP and it is working (medium blue I would guess, but I don't write with BPs except to reconsile my corporate checking account and I have a gel refill in a RED jotter for that). The nib on the pen is marked M (medium) and looks like gold to me, but could be octanium. $55.00
