His Nibs.com Update
Acura Silver Dragon rollerballs
September 25, 2005

Just a brief update this weekend. The Acura Silver
Dragon rollerballs are now back in stock. As for the
14K Dragon or Serpent fountain pens, they're on
back-order, but I expect them within the next 4
weeks.

These large, stunning pens will stand out in any
company of writing instruments! Measuring 5-5/8"
capped, these pens are not designed to have their
caps posted. When writing, their 5" length is
perfectly balanced for extended writing sessions,
even with the extensive Dragon overlay on top of the
lacquer barrel.

The intricacy of the sculpted pewter overlay is
something to behold. Depending upon the model
chosen, the pewter is further plated either with gold
or antique silver, creating an eye-popping contrast
to the glossy black lacquer of the rest of the pen.
The Chinese Dragon is rendered in fantastic detail,
with each scale sharply apparent as it wraps itself
around the pen barrel.

On the blog...Artists erect giant pink bunny on mountainside

Although there's no mention of me in the article, I'm
convinced that this project was undertaken to honor
me...as a rough translation of my name...

Haase = hare = rabbit = bunny = pink bunny!

"An enormous pink bunny has been erected on an
Italian mountainside where it will stay for the next 20
years.

The 200-foot-long toy rabbit lies on the side of the
5,000 foot high Colletto Fava mountain in northern
Italy's Piedmont region.

Viennese art group Gelatin designed the giant soft
toy and say it was "knitted by dozens of grannies out
of pink wool".

Group member Wolfgang Gantner said: "It's supposed
to make you feel small, like Gulliver. You walk around
it and you can't help but smile."

And Gelatin members say the bunny is not just for
walking around - they are expecting hikers to climb
its 20 foot sides and relax on its belly.

The giant rabbit is expected to remain on the
mountain side until 2025."
