Beginners - Help Me!
I just received a mint Parker 61 that I purchased on Ebay.Even though I have a sizable collection of pens this is my first 61.It's the kind that uses cappillery action to ink the pen.The problem that I am having is flushing the pen with water.I know how to get the water in but how do you get it out? Is there anybody out there who can help with this matter? Thanks.

I used an ear bulb.
The one I have has an adapter for and if I take the adapter off it fits over the end of the capillary filler. Then I put the nib end into water and flush. Once I've done flushing and the water runs clear I keep squeezing the bulb and most of the water will some out. Then you can rest the nib tip on a paper towel and it will wick the rest of the water.
