His Nibs.com update -- New Sign-up & D.C. Supershow 2005 ink

Hello all,

Uranus Multifunction pen

I'm still recovering from the computer woes I briefly
described in my last update to you, but making progress.

I've been sending out email
updates to customers for the past 7 years using the
HTML function of Microsoft Outlook Express. That
was ok when my list went to a few hundred
customers, but less satisfactory with several
thousand. Due to the computer malfunction,
the 'groups' that I created for that purpose are still
inaccessible, so I thought it better to start over
anyway. Also, certain browsers had difficulty in
properly rendering the HTML from Outlook Express, so
I had to move those customers to a 'text only' group,
which was less than satisfactory.

I've wanted to try 'Constant Contact' for some time,
so here's my opportunity -- even if it was somewhat
forced upon me! I've send out a few updates today
using that technology to the few customers (less than
100) that I've been in touch with in the past 2 weeks,
as those were the email addresses I had on this new
computer.

However, if you've been a regular subscriber to the updates
in the past, and *didn't* receive one of those today
(and would like to), please go to the homepage:
http://www.hisnibs.com/ and just enter your email
address in the box under 'Sign up for our email update'
near the top of the page.

One of the nice features of Constant Contact is that
the recipient can easily subscribe or unsubscribe from
the update by just clicking on a link. So, please feel
free to sign up just to see what the new format looks
like, knowing that you can unsubscribe easily at any
time.

*****The advantage to receiving my updates directly, rather
than reading them here, is that you'll also get photos
of the various pens discussed.*****

Now, on to what's new:

2005 D.C. Supershow Blue ink now available!

The D.C. Supershow Blue ink has
been a great hit over the past several years. Created
as a special edition ink by Private Reserve to
celebrate the great pen show held each year in
Washington, D.C. -- August 13th and 14th
in 2005 -- it's a rich, deep blue, not unlike the
Parker Penman Sapphire of old...but with none of the
clogging problems.

Here's your chance to get a bottle 'hot off the
presses', especially if you won't be able to join us
this year at the show.

NOTE: Lake Placid Blue, American Blue and Black
Magic Blue are all now back in stock.

The Uranus Multifunction has returned.
I believe that this is the fourth re-stocking of the
Multifunction pen in the last 6 weeks. This is a pen
that I just can't keep in stock! Possessing both a 'faux
brush' for Chinese calligraphy and regular drawing, as
well as a rollerball -- both fed from the same reservoir
of specially formulated ink -- this is one versatile
writing instrument.

I have the last 16 that the importer had on hand, but
hopefully will have more for the D.C. show
should these again sell out.
