SOLD - 1. Mini Black: Lustreloy-type finish cap and black plastic barrel. Gold tone clip and big jewel at top of cap. With vintage Sailor tag. Y3000 sticker that reads ‘Cartridge-type.’ 18K F-VF nib, with a hint of flex. Thick pen for its size. $50.

SOLD - 2. Mini Red: Ditto, in red barrel. $50.

SOLD - 3. Crosshatch: Op-Art type crosshatch that harkens the 1970s. Y6000 tag on clip. Black plastic top and bottom tassies. Super-smooth Sailor 14K YG nib. NEW! MINT!! $90.

4. Well: Likely pre-war. Ebonite cap and barrel. May have had a cap band at one time. Fairly smooth F-VF steel ‘shiro’ type nib with very slight flex. This is an almost new pen except for the time that I inked it. I cannot guarantee it does not leak. It is a shut-off eyedropper type filler. Perfect physical appearance. The WELL Pen Company was a very important maker of quality pens before the war. Hard to find. $60. This will be a good writer for someone!

5. General: Made by the KAWAMOTO PEN CO. according to the imprint on the barrel. This is a NEW OLD STOCK black urushi clad pen. Even the clip is coated in urushi. Has a nice soft FLEXI <1> nib. This is a pre-war pen probably from the late 1930s. It is an eyedropper with shut-off plunger. It has not been tested. The little sticker on the cap reads “Chuji” and translates to mean “MEDIUM.” $70.
