Stan's - Platinum Pens for Sale - Set 2

1. Black Leather: No tag but New Old Stock. Doesn’t look like it’s ever been inked. 18K Yellow Gold FINE nib. $90.

2. Brown Leather: MINT with Y6000 tag. 18K Yellow Gold FINE nib. $90. Both of these leather-clad pens have leather inserts in the tassies and are enclosed with a gold ring.

SOLD - 3. Red Bonita: If you look closely at the surface you can see the lacquer mounds over the gold dust. One ebay seller once mentioned this model has urushi coating applied. Don’t know for sure but it looks great. This is the red model. Blue Set Here. Has Y6000 price tag. 18K Yellow Gold slightly flexi FINE nib. $90.

SOLD - 4. Stainless Herringbone: Stainless steel with impressed herringbone design. Y5000 sticker. 18K White Gold MEDIUM nib with a bit of flex to it. Super-smooth. The great thing about stainless pens is you can bang ‘em up all you want and they still look great. New Old Stock!!! $75.

SOLD - 5. Stainless Tang: Similar to the Tang above but with a photo-engraved relief process to separate brushed from the more matte finish. There is a set of these further down. Y6000 sticker. 18K White Gold FINE nib. $75.

6. Striped: Black stripes over polished stainless steel and lacquer over. Y4000 sticker. 18K White Gold FINE nib. Nice and smooth and kinda flexi. $70.

7. Platinum Platinum: Yep, that’s what the model is called because of the Platinum alloy nib. Most often, if and when you see the model, it comes in a crosshatch design. This one is polished “950 SILVER” and says so on the barrel. Nib reads Pt. ALLOY. Pt. means Platinum. Although no tag it appears to be a New Old Stock, never used pen. Never even dipped. It has been posted and there are very light posting marks on the barrel. Plat Plats in sterling crosshatch have fetched in the several of hundreds on the bay and they are the most common model. SOLD - 8. Brushed Stainless: What’s cool about this pen is the square end on the barrel. Y4000 sticker. Nib is very interesting. Look closely at the picture. You’ve never seen that design on a Platinum nib before. On the side it reads MEDIUM CHARACTER. Can’t tell you if it is more special than most but, it does have some flex to it. $75. SOLD - 9. MUSIC: Short MUSIC nib pen. New Old Stock. Y5000 sticker. 14K nib that’s kind of springy. Some Plats are like nails. This one’s perfect for very stylistic writing. $140. Additional Pictures.
