SOLD - 1. Sailor Magna: Says so right on the base of the cap. This is one of the several iterations. Magnas are very rare pens. 14K Yellow Gold VERY FINE nib. Nice gold ends. Slightly used. Came with original converter that was ossified. Takes cartridges or modern converter. Heck of a good looking pen. $90.
SOLD - 2. Sailor Crosshatch: Heavy brushed stainless steel with engraved crosshatching. Black plastic tassies and clip inlay. Y6000 sticker. Big inlaid 14K Yellow Gold FINE nib. $90.
SOLD - 3. Sailor Black: Classic black Sailor with TIGP (gold-plated titanium steel) FINE nib. Y5000 sticker. Gold tassies with black inlays. $45.
SOLD - 4. Sailor Stainless: Brushed stainless with unusual offset design on clip. F-4 steel nib, MADE IN TAIWAN at the same place they make Tridents. Same tassies as the Trident too. $35.
SOLD - 5. Sailor TRIDENT: Brushed stainless early model with 767 written down the side of the cap. Red nib section. $160.
SOLD - 6. Sailor Stainless/Black Short: 18K White Gold MEDIUM nib. Slight flex. Y3000 sticker. $60.
SOLD - 7. Sailor Black/black Short: 21K Yellow Gold MEDIUM nib. Some slight ticks to edge of clip. Smooth slight flex. $55.
SOLD - 8. Sailor Stainless/stainless: Big inlaid 14K Yellow gold nib marked, GOLD FROM THE SWISS BANK. Y4000 sticker. MEDIUM nib. This was a marketing gimmick used by Sailor in the late 70s-early 80s. Cool! Sorta flexi too. Really hard to find Sailor short pens with big special nibs. $95.
SOLD - 9. Sailor Deco Band: Floral decorative band. Really smooth 21K FINE nib. Y2000 sticker. $45.
10. Unknown Urushi: Nice cinnamon urushi clad pen. Only reference to a maker is on the nib, that is a somewhat flexi VF and marked PARLEY. Nib has some superficial stuff on the writing part but the tines are mirror clean. Is a shut-off eyedropper design. I have not tried it out and it might leak. Both clip and cap band are stamped R14K. It is in all likelihood a NEW pen. There is some wear where the cap screws on to the barrel and this is normal. 5” long capped. $100.
SOLD - 11. Platon: Unusual plastic designed to look like wood or marble. Nib section is remarkablt similar to a Wahl 5th Avenue. I can’t figure it out. Nib appears to be a VF with some flex to it. Has aerometric squeeze filler that appears to never have been used. Steel cap with a very slight amount of oxidation or wear. Green plastic top jewel. Reads Platon on the clip and impressed on the barrel. Platon went under in 1953, if this helps date the pen. $70.
