Benefit's of PenPassion Mini Store

I wanted to take a second and list some of the potential benefits to using a PenPassion Mini Storefront.

1. You can have a single place where people can see you pens (and related items) that you want to sell. The will see only your pens and not a list of a mile long of pens for sale. Anytime you list a new item they will see all of your items (if you point them to your storefront).

2. You don't have to worry about listed your item only to have it 10 posts down a list because a bunch of people have listed new items.

3. When you create a new product it's put at the top of the recent posts list.

4. Fields for price, SKU and others.

5. Shopping cart capabilities. (Will work on enhancing this in the future).

How does the shopping cart work?

I've set up a product in my store. Will I get an email when someone checks out? or are the sales batched together into a single scheduled email? I tried buying somthing from myself but I never heard from me Smiling

Also, the storefront url
http://www.penpassion.com/tburke0
does not appear to be working...

All-in-all though, a very cool feature Mark!
Thanks!
Tom

More about the store.

You tburke0 URL should work now. I have to manually set it up for users that want it.

The shopping cart and email is something I'll have to work on. I'd like to have it so the user and seller get an email. Right now the store front is more of a localized place you can post products you want to sell.

I'll be working on the email and cart aspects as time permits. In addition I'd like to add individual PayPal support in the future. If I had the store setup only for myself I could do this. The challenge will be to allow everyone to setup there own little store that could be mostly automated.

Thanks for checking it out and let me know if you have any problems.

Did you get an email?

I completed the transaction in the system and it looks like it might have sent an email out to your gmail account.

Hmm... no email..

Just checked... (even the spam box Shocked)

But the url is working! Thanks!

I'll just shut off the "add to cart" for now...

Thanks again!
