My "Holy Grail" pen.

Well I finally got one. A black-striped MYU and with a medium nib at that. I'll post a mini-review at some point but here is an image I shot last night.

Anyone care to guess how I was able to take a picture of the pen with the reflection the way it is?

Wow

Georgeous pen Mark. I'd like to see it in Raleigh if you can make it - Might have to dig a few Murex Pens out of the vault....

Wow II

I've got one of the black stripe murex pens too, and it's fabulous! Writes beautifully and always works. I bought a pencil to match, but it's a little thin for my hand. This was my first murex, but not my last...they tend to be contagious. Great pic, the mirror surface adds a fourth dimension that's pure passion!

"Reach for the stars, you might just catch one!"

What a beauty

I've been hoping to get one for some time. Maybe I'll find one next Tokyo trip. Or just give in and buy one. They are gorgeous. I have the plain Myu, beautiful writer. Prob is even the fine nib is a little broad for my taste. I would love one with the razor tip I have on a couple of my Customs. Alos, tho' I love them, that smooth steel gets pretty slippery in the heat of a writing frenzy! I've had it squirt out before; maybe that's why they did the black stripe.

And how did you get that shot?

A string was used . . .

to hold the pen up. Then I used Photoshop to edit it out.
