Victor Eye Dropper

First I'd like to thank Dan Lanford for letting me photograph some pens while at the Atlanta show. Here is an eye dropper pen that he let me snap a shot of. It's called a Victor and has "Guaranteed Fountain Pen" on the barrel.

The little nob on the bottom of the pen allows you to extend and retract the nib. I believe the way these worked was you would retract the nib and use an eye dropper to put ink into the pen. When you extended the nib the ink would go behind the nib unit. When you put the cap back on the pen you would retract the nib and this would seal the section against the top of the cap.

I don't know of any that uses an eye dropper pen but it would be interesting. I wonder if a lot of these old pens have issues with sealing the ink in? This particular pen looked brand new and the chasing on it was very nice.

Thanks again Dan,

- Mark
