Well, another Atlanta show has passed and it was a truly great show. We had a good turn out.

I especially would like to thank Glenn Jones, Mary Burke of Conway Stewart for being there to represent all the wonderful and new pens they have come out with this past year. I also would like to thank Dick, Karen, and Mike of Luxury Brands. They have always been a very big part of our show, and always go the extra mile, especially because the show is their local show as well.

Our local club, the Southeastern Pen Collectors Club should be thanked immensely for all the hard work they do to keep this show going. The hospitality is unbeatable. They along with Lee Chait of Parker 75. com provided Blimpie sandwiches for all the dealers on Saturday and Sunday. They also helped with the set up as well as the tear down to make sure none of the dealers left anything behind. I consider myself truly lucky to belong to such an active pen club. We could have not done it without you. Plus Chuck and Bertie Canning need to be thanked for providing the Hot Crispy Cream Doughnuts each morning, they were yummy.

Another main sponsor that needs recognition is Pen world Magazine. Some people take for granted the fact that Pen world is at most of the shows and they provide magazines to all the show attendees, as well as usually provide a couple of free subscriptions as door prizes. Their show ads really help promote the shows. Again thanks Susan and Glenn.

And finally I would like to give a big thank you to all the dealers who make these shows what people come for, and all the collectors for whom we do all this for. If it were not for collectors these shows would be just another "trade show".

We will start posting soon on the date and details for next years show. (yes we do start planning this far in advance)The shows do come up quick.
