Atlanta Show - Day 3 - Seminars
Sunday was filled with seminars. First Roger Cromwell (Penopoly) gave a seminar on repairs and spoke on polishing techniques. Great informative stuff.
After that Richard Binder (Richard Binder - Fountain Pens) spoke on flex nibs. Again, very informative information. You may also want to pick up this moth's issue of Stylus for an article in it by Richard with lots of information.
Then Ward Dunham (Atelier Gargoyle) spoke on lettering and handwriting. Ward was very entertaining and fun to listen to. One person asked if one should right a certain way when sending a letter to someone. Ward, said something like, "Anyone who gets a hand written letter now adays will be thrilled, so don't let that stop you from writing". He gave some great handouts and information on writing, books about the subject and more. I'll post more about the stuff they had at their table in a future post.
