participating in a pen chat one evening. Would anyone be interested in this? I'm thinking about having a pen chat one night to see how it goes. And I'm thinking about giving away a pen by putting the names of those that participate in the chat in a drawing. Would anyone be interested in something like this. You wouldn't even have to same much other than just stopping by and saying hello. Depending on how many people show up you'd probably have a good chance of winning.

My wife's mother passed away on Sunday night, so I haven't had much time to do anything. I was able to order a new Sailor pen from Chuck @ Swisher pens yesterday. I was going to order it a week ago.
Now for the chatbox. This Saturday night is not good for me since we still have a lot of family from out of town staying at our home. However, Sunday night or even Monday night would be good for me.

I had to go take care of some business for my wife's dad and we were gone most of the day Monday (3/14/05). When I got home late I was so tired I just crashed after a quick check of my e-mail.
Any week night is good for me now.

I would participate, but the particular day of the week and time just depends upon that day and week, so I would just have to jump in as I'm available.
For consideration, sometimes these chats are taken over by members who know one another and the chat seems to digress to some inside information and exchange and other can feel left out and become disinterested. Keep it open for all to participate in the subject without becoming too ingrown.

I think for the posted standard pen chats it would be best to just keep them pen related for all to enjoy. If other's want to use the system to chat about something else they could setup a time for that and meet back.
Perhaps there could even be certain topics discussed on particular nights and times.
