Anyone ever bought from these folks?

I got an email today from them. Looks like they have some nice stuff on their website. But never heard of them before today.

The Ulugtekins

I've probably bought a dozen pens from them -- I was, I think, one of their first customers on penbid. The pens are in excellent condition, the prices are reasonable, the shipping (airmail, registered) from Turkey is very fast.

Last November, in fact I spent Thanksgiving in Istanbul (because I'd never been there, and to make sure I'd maintain status in a frequent flyer program). I contacted the Ulugtekins and Denizhan, the son, brought some beautiful pens by my hotel and I bought.

They are a father and son Savas and Denizhan, and I think the grandfather was also a collector. According to Denizhan, he polishes the pens and deals with appearance and Savas works on the insides. It is a hobby for them.

I have also bought several pens from them and have had no difficulties in receiving the pens. Considering that the pens come from Turkey, they arrive in amazingly fast time. I would have no problems recommending them, based on my experiences with them.

Their name has come up very freguently on Zoss.com, and always with favorable comments. They have a very good reputation in Europe, where a friend of mine purchases from them.

Hi. Got a few pens from Savas.
I found him fast, reasonably priced, and friendly.
The pens - a silver chiselle Parker 75 and a rolled gold Parker 180 set arrived in lovely condition. These were separate transactions and both were very smooth.
It's particularly nice to find someone who actually answers emails Smiling
