Is there any material you wish a modern pen would be made out of?

A Passion for Pens
My son got a guitar the other day an I was in the music store with him and he was looking at picks. Man, there are some nice looking guitar picks. Very cool celluloids with mother-of-pearl look to them.
I bought this rollerball the other day and think this would be a cool fountain pen.

carbon fiber body, Titanium nib

That would be cool. Or how about a Titanium body with a carbon fiber nib? 
I'm joking but I wonder if anyone has tried to make nibs out of other materials besides metals.

Glass nibs

Hi,
They did make nibs out of glass before, and they write quite nicely.
If they made a pen completely out of clear material, that might be interesting. Glass nib, clear section, clear feed, clear filler parts, clear barrel, and clear cap.

I just won a pen on eBay that has a glass nib. It's a Japanese pen from the 1920s that has a Conklin style cresent filler. I'll take some photos when I get it.
