About 1001 Pens
In 1995, Davis Vintage Collectibles, a small store in the heart of New
York's antique district on 27th Street, was opened to sell antique and vintage writing instruments.
In 1997, the store added vintage postcards, pen advertising and accessories such as gold nibs, ink wells, antique desk sets and handmade pen displays.
We set up our first web site in 1999 called nypen.com and now we are selling exclusively online through our site http://www.1001Pens.com, & http://www.conwaystewartpens.co.uk
Today 10 year later I live in Paris and still working with 80% of the same buyer that I had in 1995 when I had my shop.

From Atelier Gargoyle's website:
We are a small establishment that is dedicated to the Lost Art of Handwriting. We love the history, the art, and the practice of handwriting. If you also find pleasure in handwriting, if you like to write letters and postcards and notes to yourself, if you take pleasure in embellishing your correspondence with sealing wax, and if you want well-made, beautiful tools and accoutrements to accomplish all this, you’ve found the right website. We reproduce antique seals, and we design new ones. We make our own flexible sealing wax in our small San Francisco studio, and we sell traditional wax made in France. We’ve very carefully selected the fountain pens we sell. We prefer pens that sit very comfortably in the hand and write easily. Most importantly, we specialize in italic nibs — the nib shape of choice for calligraphers in the western world over the past two millennia. We also offer gifts, writing and desk paraphernalia, knives, and other atavistic tools, treasures, and talismans. Please explore our Atelier.

Parker75.com
Submitted by mbacas on Mon, 06/14/2004 - 20:24. pen reference | pens - vintageThis web site deals with all things related to the Parker 75 family of writing instruments. My personal bias is primarily to the fountain pens, so that is mostly what you will find here, though I am trying to also add the ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils.

About Us
Pen World® International is the definitive source for information about new and vintage writing instruments and the people who create, use and enjoy them. Pen World is published and distributed seven times a year by World Publications, Inc. located in Kingwood, Texas, a suburb of Houston.
World Publications president Glen B. Bowen combined his vast knowledge and love of pens with his publishing experience to found Pen World® International in the fall of 1987. Bowen is also author of Collectible Fountain Pens. First published in 1980, the guide is still a must-read for novice collectors.

From his site:
FOUNTAIN PENS offer the writer a delightful aesthetic experience; they’re pleasing to use, and they produce a distinctive handwriting that cannot be achieved by any other means. (Read my essay about why I use fountain pens.)
In addition to careful, respectful repair and restoration, I specialize in adjusting, regrinding, and customizing nibs on all brands of pens. For instant gratification, I offer a broad selection of economical preground nibs for Pelikan pens.
As an authorized retailer for Bexley, Conway Stewart, Filcao, Pelikan, Signum, and Taccia, I have a carefully chosen selection of modern pens for sale. These are pens I’ve chosen because, as a repairer, I have confidence in their quality and reliability. Most of these pens have nibs that can be customized. If you purchase a pen and order its nib customized, I can customize the nib to your specifications and ship your pen the next business day. Nib customization begins at $30.00; please send mail to discuss your specific needs and their cost.
